Match Results Kempston and Tingrith

Vauxhall Angling river matches on the River Great Ouse at Kempston, fished either side of the Hospital Cup, produced excellent weights with a different mix of fish in the top bags.

The late August match saw just over 70 lbs of fish caught. The top weights were:
1st   James Draculik     22 lbs
2nd  Pete Hawley         12 lbs 15 ozs
3rd   Kevin Osborne      8 lbs 14 ozs
4th   Paul Caton            8 lbs 4 ozs
5th   Nigel Porter           7 lbs 11ozs
6th   M Philips               6 lbs 10 ozs
James’s weight was mostly made up of fine quality roach. 10 fished.
With holidays over the first September had a better turn out of 14 anglers with the Draculik family stamping its authority on the event.James Draculik had also done well from this stretch in the Hospital Cup.
1st  James Draculik      21 lbs 11 ozs
2nd  Nigel Bass            14 lbs 14 ozs
3nd  Steve Draculik      12 lbs 1 oz
4th   Paul Caton             9 lbs 15 ozs
5th   Steve Beehan         8 lbs 9 ozs
6th   Miles Philips           8 lbs 13 ozs
Over 113 lbs of fish caught on the day with the encouraging inclusion of some small barbel and a
4 lb tench for variety.
This past week-end at Tingrith saw 14 of the usual competitive crew turn out to fish the Manor Lake.
With fantastic winning weights the top six were:
1st  Jim Tookey            87 lbs 3 ozs
2nd  Gary Page             80 lbs 12 ozs
3rd  Andy Waterhouse    79 lbs 11 0zs
4th  Ian Simner              55 lbs 5 ozs
5th  Pete Googe             40 lbs 7 ozs
6th  Andy Bocock           39 lbs
The cumulative weight for all was a brilliant 607 lbs.
