Well lots happening at the moment! Tingrith work parties are busy every Thursday evening from 5.00pm, the Manor Lake is looking great with the lily beds now well under control, work has started at Woodlands where we continue to pump water out of the lake and the Mere has had weed removed. Over at Sharnbrook and Radwell, nearly all of the swims on the river bank have now been sprayed, trying to cut this length of river by hand is impossible! Pit 5 and 6 have been tidied and we tried our new weed cutting boat out with great success. Look out for the latest newsletter……
On the fish front, Woodlands and the Mere are producing loads of fish, with tench, bream, carp, decent rudd and roach . Sharnbrook pits have produced some really good carp to the low 30’s, bream to 12lbs, tench to 8lbs and some very large perch. Fantastic fishing! Out and out carp waters at Woburn and Stanton have seen carp to 34lbs banked in the spring season.
